Buy the best saddle for you and your horse 

The SMART saddle design has been carefully developed since 2010 and, although all SMART saddles benefit from the same fully flexible, rigid free design, there are key differences between the seats, base panels, and assemblies, and therefore updated designs will fit, feel and balance differently.

We recommend, wherever possible, that you keep the same saddle that you’ve tried at your Test Ride or Rental, so that you know exactly what to expect from your new saddle. Always exercise caution when purchasing alternative models, or from alternative sources, as you might not get the same feel or results as the saddle from your trial.  

 

Whatever you decide, remember to always treat each saddle individually and enlist fitting help from a SMART Advisor. A second-hand saddle may take some additional time to fit if not the optimal choice for you/your horse therefore an increased rate is charged for fittings of third party purchased saddles to account for this.
