OK, we’ll admit it. It may seem like we’re addicted to Velcro. From shims and saddle cloths to custom cantles and knee blocks, this super versatile material is the backbone of much of the interchangeable SMART saddle system, enabling the repeatable adjustability and adaptability of the SMART saddle range one piece of hook and loop at a time. Whilst it may not be glamorous at first look, it has incredible longevity and functionality!
We won’t compromise functionality for anything, and for this reason, we’re not about to turn our backs on Velcro anytime soon. However, we do understand that not everybody embraces it as much as we do and therefore, we’re pleased to introduce the new look SMART Supra-wedge knee block for 2025.
Still interchangeable, the new Supra-wedge balances the performance benefits of the original SMART Suprabloc with an enhanced, sleek finish that keeps the Velcro out of sight and out of mind:
What is a Suprabloc?
The SMART Suprabloc has been a staple across all SMART Jump and Dressage saddles since 2012. The popular surface-mounted knee block design provides above-thigh support and close-contact for that monoflap feel so desired by riders at all levels.
