“I purchased my, SMART Elite Jump saddle in December 2022 and it’s safe to say that it has been the best decision. My horse, Robin, has always been tricky to fit saddles to; he is a big warmblood with extremely high withers and broad shoulders. I have spent so much money over the years trying different saddle brands, different half pads etc and usually selling them on eventually because I wasn’t pleased with the fit or I did not feel secure in the saddle.
The SMART™ saddle fitting experience was so easy and stress free, and the SMART Elite Jump saddle is a perfect fit for him. I was honestly amazed at the instant difference in his way of going. The level of freedom he now has through his shoulders is incredible - he is making a much better shape jumping and our flatwork is improving massively. The saddle does not move at all and I find it extremely comfortable. I hack regularly and find the saddle helps me feel very secure, even when those pesky pheasants like to fly out of the hedge at us!
I also have to mention how lightweight these saddles are - this has been game changing for me. I struggle with wrist and hand weakness due to a health condition which means that putting a “normal” saddle on my 17hh horse was quite a task. The lightness of the SMART™ saddle means I have no issue lifting it up on tohis back, and it has made transporting the saddle and tacking up significantly easier and less painful for me.
