“You have no idea how thrilled I am with the results!” 

I had struggled for years with my traditional treed saddle and muscle wastage on my Lusitano Mare, Chuva. Regular checks and adjustments were done but nothing seemed to help, and she often used to have tightness over her back.

The knowledge that I could try a SMART Saddle before buying really appealed - within a week of renting the SMART Elite Dressage saddle I had decided I was keeping it!  

The change in Chuva’s back, and the speed at which it happened, has been incredible. My SMART Advisor has adjusted the fit as required; we have been able to remove the shim on the right-hand side where the muscle wastage was as it has already developed so much.  

 

 

2 months later: Greatly improved symmetry and muscle tone. 

 

Chuva continues to change shape and develop her muscles.  

 

3 months later: Further improvement in symmetry and straightness along the full length of Chuva’s back 

I am thrilled with the outcome – only wish I had discovered this saddle earlier!
