I have been an Equine Therapist since 2014 and over the years have recommended many of my clients to SMART Saddles as they make my life so much easier when helping a horse return to work after an injury. When rehabilitated correctly, a horse's muscle can change and develop on a weekly basis, and the fact that you can change the fit of a SMART saddle so easily (with a simple change of pads) allows the horse to really strengthen up through the back and shoulder - no other saddle has this capability! This means more comfort for more horses, and really good value for money.
I have added various other modalities to my services over the years including rider biomechanics, coaching, saddle fitting and more latterly bit and bridle fitting (https://www.equimotion.co.uk/) , which is my current focus.
I have ridden in SMART saddles since 2011 and will not pop my backside on anything else these days! I have evented, hunted, show jumped, ridden endurance and even race-trained an Arab, all in my beloved SMART Native Jump saddle! I now currently have 13 horses at home, 7 are retired and 6 are about to start getting back out competing after a little holiday due to my own injuries, they include 2 Arabians, 2 PRE's, a Lusitano and a Criollo!
The Iberians will be mainly aimed at working equitation and the Arabs endurance and eventing and all will be ridden in a SMART saddle. I have built quite a collection of SMART saddles over the years, including the SMART Elite range, which are possibly the most comfortable saddles I have ever sat on. Having injured my spine and neck over the years, the flexible system provides a much-needed element of shock absorption for the rider, another reason I won't ride in anything but a SMART saddle.
