We had a test ride in a SMART Native GP saddle - impressed is an understatement!
Izzy is a lovely bay Welsh C and very round. Her previous saddle would always slip to the right, she found it difficult to pick up left lead and if she did she was disunited. Within a few minutes riding in the SMART saddle, Ella and Izzy were both more confident and managed to get the correct lead.
Whist having the saddle on trial, Ella and Izzy have done so much; hacking, Pony Club rallies and show jumping, where she got a 2nd in 60cm with a beautiful clear round. All the Pony Club Instructors have commented on how Ella’s riding and Izzy’s way of going has improved in only two weeks and the only thing that’s changed is the saddle.
As Izzy is a mother daughter share, I too feel so much better balanced and more secure - being a novice rider that’s very important to me. I’m so impressed, I wouldn’t have believed a saddle could make so much difference.
Needless to say, we bought the saddle and love the fact that we could customise it with a bit of bling.
