The two-week trial to see if the saddle would be right for both pony and rider was "a huge bonus"

“I’m so happy I listened to the many people who advised me to try a SMART Saddle during my two-year hunt for the right saddle to finish backing my youngster in.

The SMART Advisor called me ahead of the visit, took the time to listen and find out lots about us prior to the first fitting and brought out exactly the right saddle - first one out! She was very patient with me - as a nervous owner trialling saddles for my young pony for his first big boy saddle!

I was able to rent the SMART Native Event saddle for a two-week trial to see if it would be right for us after the Test Ride, which was a huge bonus for a 6 year old pony who had only been ridden in a pad before. This allowed him to get used to the saddle and time for him to give me his thoughts on it! (He is a pony with opinions!).

I’m so happy and so relieved, as I was really unsure if there would be a saddle out there that would fit me and him - as he turned out rather smaller in stature than originally hoped.

I was encouraged by others who offered helpful advice via my online horse community and I am pleased I reached out to SMART Saddles and gave these saddles a try.
